Introduction of Happy Sailing

Happy Sailing Education Services Corp., founded in 2016 in Mississauga, Ontario, is dedicated to supporting and guiding international youth as they adapt, grow, and thrive in Canada.

With a strong passion for youth development, Founder Helen Yan Song has created a comprehensive and systematic approach to help international students—particularly those from China—successfully navigate their academic and personal journeys abroad.

Our Mission

Studying in Canada presents both exciting opportunities and significant challenges for young international students. They must adapt to a new city, language, culture, educational system, and social environment—all while developing independence at a young age.
At Happy Sailing, we understand that studying abroad is not just about attending school; it is a life-changing experience that requires holistic growth and continuous support.

Our Approach

Drawing from years of experience, Helen Yan Song identified the key needs of international students and designed Happy Sailing’s programs around four essential areas of growth:

  1. Adaptation – Adjusting to new schools, homestays, city life, and the Western education system, including new teaching and evaluation methods.

  2. Academic Success – Selecting appropriate courses, building effective study habits, and setting clear goals for university and future careers.

  3. Personal Development – Building confidence, exploring new opportunities, stepping outside comfort zones, and developing problem-solving skills.

  4. Social Connection – Making friends, participating in community life, and establishing meaningful relationships within Canadian society.

Our mission is to guide students through every step of this journey. Happy Sailing goes far beyond traditional services such as school applications, custodianship, or homestay arrangements—we specialize in student growth and development.
